Flashback to Ocean Voices first front page appearance

The very first introduction that Ocean Voices received was written by Paul Bilby, a journalist from the Echo Newspaper. Finding my face on the driveway was shocking, who knew that Ocean Voices would later be featured on the front page again.

In a groundbreaking development for local environmental activism, Ocean Voices has made its first media appearance, marking a significant milestone for this innovative youth empowerment project. Led by 16-year-old Monet Shortland (myself), who has long been passionate about environmental conservation, and the brainchild of local social entrepreneur Simone Roseler, Ocean Voices aims to amplify the voices of young people in the critical discourse on climate change and ocean preservation.
